WEBMAIL SETUP

SPAM / UNSOLICITED MAIL PROTECTION

Webmail is protected from Spam / Unsolicited Mail as long as you set parameters for incoming mail to your Webmail. To set protection properly you have to select FILTER option.

To select FILTER option proceed us given below:

  • select and click on FILTERS in the OPTIONS area ( pic 09 or pic 10/11 )

  • page with Filters Icon will appear in top menu as shown in pic 12

  • when you click on Filters Icon new page for Filters setup will come up in your screen ( pic 13 )

  • you may now setup new rule for SPAM by simple click on NEW RULE

  • rename new rule like Spam Rule and setup the rest of the parameters like demonstrated in following pictures below ( pic 14/15/16 )

  • enter parameters for filtering like words *****SPAM***** or any other words you may come up with

  • to deliver all filtered Spam mail to a new SPAMAIL folder select DELIVER TO FOLDER and system will ask you to create new folder

  • name new folder as SPAM and select new folder in DO THIS box

  • click SAVE when you finish with setup of Spam Rule

  • click on SAVE SETTINGS when you are happy with your Filters setup

  • your SPAM Filter rule is now ready to be implemented for all incoming mail into INBOX only

  • note a small icon APPLY FILTERS next to REFRESH INBOX

  • when you click on APPLY FILTERS TO INBOX all mail inside Inbox will be filtered and your instruction for potential Spam mail will be transferred to SPAM folder as shown in pic 17

  • you may check folder SPAM for possible filtering errors or missing mail or edit SPAM folder

  • once you are happy that all mail in SPAM folder is genuine SPAM Mail you may select individual mail or all mail and click on BLACKLIST to file senders email address (this will prevent mail from coming to your email address)

  • once the filter program has completed filtering it will show results like in pic 17 and all transferred mail to SPAM folder will be marked as set in FILTER Rules (in this demo I have selected DELETE option - in order to delete from SPAM Folder select PURGE DELETED)
